One-Touch Emergency Buttons
Easy-to-use ADT Security system keypads are also equipped with simple one-touch emergency buttons for fire, medical and police emergencies. In the event of any emergency, all you have to do to trigger the home security system is simply press any of these buttons for assistance from a ADT Security monitoring professional. |

Fire emergency*
When pressed, the fire emergency button activates the fire alarm. The siren sounds and a signal is sent to the ADT Security Monitoring Centers. ADT Security, in turn, notifies the fire department, then calls you to verify the alarm and your safety**. |

Medical emergency
When pressed, the medical emergency button on the simple home security system keypad activates the medical alarm. The home alarm system keypad beeps, but the siren does not sound. ADT Security then calls you to verify the alarm. If no one answers the call, ADT Security quickly alerts medical rescue personnel. |

Police emergency*
When pressed, the police emergency button activates the main home alarm. The security system siren sounds and a signal is sent to ADT Security Monitoring Centers. ADT Security then calls you to verify the alarm and notifies the police department, if necessary, of your emergency situation. |
